Xavier Alujas –
Really good course, well explained and very complete.
my only comment is that this course definitely takes more than 16 hours to complete.

This is a great course for someone refreshing their knowledge of the subject. I would recommend it to new students as well. Krista gives excellent lectures and lots of examples and practice questions with clearly worked-out answers. I am looking forward to part 2 of the course.

I choose this course over going to my Calculus classes and i don’t regret it. Straight to the point texts and videos, greeeat exercises and perfectly repetitive workbooks.

Thank you Krista!!!!!!!! I forgot to rate this course before continue on Calculus II. I haven’t write those workbooks yet, however, I still feel that I have learnt a lot a lot from you. I wish I could become someone who’s is good at using math to create, to help people just like you do!

I love it, the course goes in-depth but Integrals arent included in this specific course so I had to spend more money on the next one, which wasn’t ideal.

Very engaging. A lot of this is different from the calculus I learned in pre-University maths in the UK, which was basically differentiation and integration and how they are derived. There’s a lot of stuff about limits and discontinuous functions, which we did not do. I’d say this is a more thorough account of calculus.
Lots of irritating Americanisms, though, like constantly saying “negadiv” instead of “minus” or “semaicircle” instead of “semicircle”. Docking a star for use of stupid imperial units on an international platform.
Pietro Frapoli –
Content explained throughfully step by step, different syllabus compared to my university (italian) Calculus I course but very useful for learning stuff that is taken fro granted in the course I am attending.
Rishikesh Negi –
Because of this course, I’ve stopped fearing calculus, and started warming up to it. The concepts are well-explained, and hence easy to pick up. The notes and the workbooks are very handy for strengthening our understanding of each topic.
The only thing that’s missing are the proofs of different formulae we come across in this course. Because many a times, we are asked to write the proofs in the exams. But finding the proof online is very easy. Although, it would be nice if Krista added the proofs to the course itself; maybe an entire separate section of proofs for each of the formulae. That would make the course 100% complete since students would get everything in one place.

The course is very accessible to someone with a good grounding in the topics covered. The supplementary workbooks are excellent. It is a really good course for complementing more detailed courses on the same materials, builds confidence and gets the basics in very well.

Some explanations of the concepts were good but as much as I’d like to give this instructor a higher rating, I find myself frustrated with the organization of the information. In many lessons, pieces of the crucial information were scattered and terminologies were inconsistent among the Resources Notes, videos and Quiz solutions. It felt like the instructor did too much of cut and paste.

Excellent course with simple to understand problems. Even as an experienced professional seeking a refresher in calculus 1 topics, I found it very helpful.

This has been a great course. Krista is very clear in her presentation and the pacing is just right. I actually look forward to it as a break from some of the courses I’m taking for a MS in Data Science.
