Opowieść o więziennym eksperymencie nie jest zbyt trafiona bo dwoje więźniów którzy przestali pracować zostali zmuszeni przez pozostałych do pracy. Prawdopodobnie została użyta siła lub groźba karalna, niestał się tam żaden cud w nocy tylko pozostali wpłynęli na tych więźniów. Ci więźniowie którzy nie mieli “motywacji” liczyli wręcz na wyrzucenie z więzienia lub obijanie się. To samo dzieje się na linii produkcyjnej gdzie są bonusy za wydajność, przełożony umywa w ten sposób ręce a natomiast pozostali stosują grupowy mobbing celem eliminacji takiego pracownika. Dużo lepszym przykładem była szwaczka.
