This course taught me many things and I’m very grateful to have been through it. When I was struggling in college, I was trying all types of methods to set goals. Now that I’ve taken this course, I understand why I didn’t succeed before. I didn’t need techniques, I needed a roadmap to follow. OKRs provide an excellent roadmap to track progression and where to start. I now have no more excuses.

This course has a good quality and interesting examples. Insturctor encouraged me to rethink about what I want to achieve. OKR it seems to very interesting framework and I will try to used it in my life. In the other hand, english is not my native language, and some of the words were not easy to understand. Some of the terms are very biznes related and it should be explained to others. Some parts of presentation would be more interesting if instructor instead of read them, tries to describe this sentences. Also It will be nicer if to the course, were added a part that describes Initiatives, why they appears and why they are confusing (as I understand instructor don’t recommend them). Apart that I can recommend this course, and thanks to the instructor for nice job!.

I feel there is a lack of evaluation of how to find out if OKR’s work for you or not, what are their downsides, how can you detect they are not a good fit for you or your company. Everything was a bit too… “amazing” to sound believable.

I learned a lot in the course and I would highly recommend it. I’m a newer HR manager learning about OKRs for use in my company. We’re small and have been using scorecards and informal performance reviews, but as we grow we need to find something more formal to ensure equity and fairness. I think that I still need to do more work and take additional lessons to get about about writing my goals vs objectives, measures, initiatives, etc. I’m still spending a lot of time getting caught up in the pieces and getting frustrated, but I can sense that the skills are building.
