My expectation from the score was more for UX perspective. Though the instructor did mention it in a few times, it was not fully focussed on it.
The instructor’s way of delivering the course was engaging but I was expecting a bit different content.
Anantajit Balakrishnan –
This course is fabulously structured. I found myself revisiting topics to take notes as I was planning my Product features. The narration is very engaging, easy to follow and very clear. Great work and thank you!

The course was amazing, interesting, motivating and engaging. The examples section at the end was a must and is very useful. I took several notes on most of the topics in this course. And it also helped me to understand the basic idea’s of Gamification.
This course also helped me to understand the psychology of human behavior. I also made my own notes about how to motivate someone who’s in need. And I also tried to build my own engagement plan.
Lastly, “Mr. Rob Sutcliffe” the instructor of this course explains all of these things perfectly and in an easy way. Hats off!

How it could be better? In my opinion:
– There are some obvious mistakes in the presentation, which would worth to be re-recorded.
– Downloadable materials with the main milestones, “takeaways” and checklists would be useful.

The art and science behind the getting things done not only in the professional corporate part but also in the personal half is extemly detailed.loved to continue with the motivation gained on the new years day.Thank you.

The lessons were crisp and to the point. There were a lot of examples that were also used, and these examples were apt ones. I would definitely see my time spent on this course as an investment.

Very interesting, and cut through some of the general comments that are made about gamification and motivation

excellent match! focused on benefitting the user and on understanding the underlying psychology of gamification ..but concise and not too deep. very useful 🙂

When I saw “motivation” in the title of this course, I began to expect something shallow, full of “just be happy” kind of content. For my surprise, I got quite an opposite experience!
The instructor has used sound, theoretical, technological arguments to explain a lot of relevant applications of the concepts.
Additionally, I was amazed by how ethically he positioned himself, by defending that certain engagement techniques not only decrease people’s motivation, but also can be unhealthy.
The only reason I don’t give this course 5 stars is a personal preference: I wanted to see or hear much more often this author or institution did this study which found these results. The instructor indeed mentioned a lot of experiments in the theoretical sections, but I did not get to know most of the sources, so I could dive in the ones most interesting to me.
