This was a good course and it really touched on the topics I was missing from the previous courses like debt. However, I think it still lacks some bits: e.g. defaults and their effects, or some disassembly of successful interventionist/communist regime (modern China) and why that happened, as opposed to only stating that interventionism is doomed to fail. Or, as someone from former Soviet Union, I’d find it especially interesting of some analysis of what happened after it fell apart (and also reasons for the failure) in a bit more depth.
But anyway I got a good base to now find this out on my own even though it’s not as convenient.
Also it’s in general a bit sad that I have finished all courses now as I got used to this flow of simple explanations 🙂

Really enjoying the introduction. Great examples, made simple to understand. Have learnt important concepts which challenged me to assess my country and how my country has/is progressing since its independence. The study of development economics is a fascinating field for all citizens in order to appreciate how economics and political decisions are made based on influence of international institutional powers and MNC powers.
