What a journey Guys. Thank you so much for creating such an amazing course. “Give a man a fish, you feed him for a day, teach a man to fish, you feed him for lifetime”. This course is an amazing gift for my life. Thank you so much guys for your work and sharing.

I think that this course was a great match for me. I’m a beginner to digital art, so the amount of information can be overwhelming at times. Still, I found the instructor’s delivery to be easy to follow and engaging. It’s a bit of a long course, but I like how in depth the instructor goes and how many resources come with the course. I still have a lot to learn about digital art, but I look forward to reviewing this course in the future. I highly recommend this course to any digital art student, especially beginners.

Me enseño muchas técnicas que tenia desconocidas como blending y me dio un abanico de pinceles que desconocía, me ayudo mucho también con el uso de modos de fusion y mucho mas, super recomendable

This is a best course to learn from the very basics like line and shapes to an advanced level like photorealistic, character design. All the lectures are properly organized so that its is to follow and every thing are taught by step wise manner. That makes this more interesting and you can build your skills gradually. Recommend anyone to learn from zero.

Its an okay course. You will learn the basics of digital painting and a few different techniques (matt painting e.g.). Then again, there are subjects that are far too rushed like character design. Thats a whole topic worth years of experience. There are also bad workflows shown like section 14. There are faster and better ways to color a value painting. All in all, its worth to get started but not at full price.

I like that they are going over the basics. I like how they were teaching about how to limit your pallet and why. I would do that in my paintings just because I thought it looked better but now I know why.

Well, it took me a 11 months, but I’ve finally finished this class. The length of time it took me was not the fault of the lessons or instructors, but is because of a belief I held early on that I should master each step before moving on to the next one. Pro Tip: Don’t do that. Not only is it really impossible, especially as you move farther on through the lessons, but it causes you to miss out on a lot of very valuable information that you pick up as you go and which really helps out. Instead, move through at a steady clip, and rest assured that your skills will develop as you do so.
Speaking of skills, I went into this with a lifetime of casual art experience, but no digital art experience at all. Comparing what I am capable of now to what I could do a year ago is complete night and day. I owe it all to this class. Professional, thorough, and engaging every step of the way, I could not be more happier with its content.
I have a lot of improving left to do, and have a list of the Batchelor’s classes that I intend to take, some of which I have already purchased and lined up. I do not doubt that another year of concentrated study, in which I do not demand perfection of myself but simply focus on progressing and learning, will yield incredible results, as this last year did through their teaching.
One Note (which is not meant to detract from my praise in the slightest): If you think you are going to post things to the Q&A here on Udemy and get responses from the instructors on this class, years after it was posted, you will not. I understand that they are more likely to interact with their Facebook group, though as I do not have Facebook, I cannot say from experience. For me, this doesn’t matter in the slightest, as I’m shy about community interactions like that. If it means a great deal to you, be prepared to join their FB group, or choose a different class.

The instructors really go into detail about what the lesson revolves around. He gives examples and demonstrations to help show what he is talking about or explaining.
