Colt is a good teacher and that is why i decided to buy this course, however, he no longer responds to Q&A and has not in 3 years from the looks of things and there i s no teaching assistant. There is no specific discord group for you to het help beisides web development bookcamp which there is a 1 in 10 chance you will get a response regarding react.

Great course and easy to follow…all the way up to React Router. After that, a lot of the material is dated and no longer works unless you revert back to old versions of React Router and MUI. These parts desperately need to be updated. Googling solutions to all of these compatibility issues added a ridiculous amount of time to this course. Who know? Maybe I’ll understand the new stuff better having found it myself.

Although the course is very outdated, the projects are great to practice with hooks and the style of Colt’s teaching is awesome and very easy to follow along.

This should be 5-star but it is outdated that’s why I can’t complete the massive color project. Although I still trying to complete it by myself using hooks and function-based components. Colt is really a good teacher but it is frustrating how outdated this course is.

Everything has been great, great intro and explanation of the React concept, the one thing is to have the course updated, as React itself is already at an updated version, along with some other tools, but overall very great course to get started with React.JS

Outdated! don’t take this course if you are a beginner. majority of the course is based on the class components.

I prefer exercises to be from scratch. When they are half done I do not grasp the concepts as clearly.

The content is great.
It is hard to read some curly braces, paran on the screen. The color contrast is tough to read. E.g. dark read or dark purple against black background is not very easy to read.

The course needs restructuring because of some of the crucial updates that have been rolled out, especially react router related stuffs.
