The person that holds the course does not update his videoes and do not answer the Q&A

Thank you for the wonderful course, Andrew!
Some of the code that Andrew uses in his presentations is now outdated, as is the nature of computer programming, but the Q&A feature was helpful. Most issues were already discussed with answers, otherwise it was easy to reach out with a question that hadn’t previously been addressed. I also found that attempting to troubleshoot on my own was a very important skill to learn (AKA very very very frustrating and time consuming).
It took me two attempts to finish this course: I got halfway through the course in my first attempt until I lost momentum due to outside circumstances. I found on my second attempt, I retained my learning and understood concepts even more deeply and clearly which is a testament to Andrew’s teaching style and a good reminder that revisiting lectures is another way to strengthen knowledge.

The author never responded to any of the questions I asked. I sent a message directly to him and the assistant that was helping him respond to questions. His assistant responded that Andrew said he would be responding to question himself. If the author is not available to answer questions he should at least let people know that upfront before purchasing the course. Throughout his course he is constantly telling people to “crack open a question” if they run into any problems. Getting help throughout the course was one of the main reasons I liked Udemy over other similar sites.

Explanations sometimes are too rapid and confusing, some libraries are outdated. Overall a useful course, I learned a lot.

I have learnt basic things better, but as soon as course come into deep it was confusing me at some points and I lost my momentum.

However, some of the features of the language were not covered, and Q&A is no longer active. After finishing this course, you will be ready to use frameworks, etc.

A very well structure class though missing some important topics. For example: call, bind, apply functions, setting up gitignore.
However, the most segnificant drawback of this course is that it’s very updated. Most of the packages used thought the course have much newer versions that completely change the approach for working with them.

I can not express enough how good this course is.
I first started this course back in 2019, it being my first experience with any form of programming language aside from HTML. Fast forward to 2023 and I already have several years of experience working as a full-stack web developer.
Andrew’s style of teaching is excellent, and the lessons learned really sticks with you as long as you make the effort to take each challenge seriously. I also recommend recreating each “project” as you finish them on your own to solidify what you’ve learned and identify what you didn’t get a full grasp on to go back and really learn.
After finishing this course, make sure to take Andrew’s Node and React course. They will introduce you to a lot of the industry standards and will prepare you to work with command consoles, git and other tools that you have to know how to use to succeed in the industry.
After finishing these three courses, you will find that you can easily adapt what you’ve learned to the circumstances of any project. As an example, I was able to jump into a project that was using PHP with Laravel and SQL with ease thanks to the concepts I’ve learned during these courses.
Granted, you will need to continue having a curious mind and keep learning on your own, but if you’re looking to get into the development field without any prior experience, I can tell you that it is possible, and this course gives you a strong foundation and an excellent introduction to the world of web development.
Thank you Andrew for this excellent course!
