When I bought the course, it was mentioned the course will be regularly updated.
When we can see Angular 14 version has just been released but this course is not upgraded with the regular Angular version changes.
Please DO NOT Refer this OUTDATED Course.

This is an excellent course for total beginners in Angular that will guide you through all of its concepts. The only problem I found, was that in some of the chapters, the explanations weren’t very clear on why we follow the proposed approach.

I had to do this course for my job, but I did not expect just how good it was. Nevertheless, I learned a lot, and Max explained the concepts well. I love the course project and the assignments (they are optional, but I recommend you do them).

Thanks to this course, I feel very confident in my Angular skills. Maximilian is an excellent teacher and I really appreciated that he has kept the course updated over the years. I definitely recommend this course to anyone who wants to become a professional Angular developer

Honestly they cover overall. I can get full confidence to start work without anyone support. Thanks Max and Team

pros:
– thoroughly made and explained content.
– teacher is very polite and friendly
– he dives deeper into underlying concepts and extra bits when explaining (very much appreciated)
– the practice course (recipe book) is very good helpful and intuitive.
cons:
– teacher’s voice is naturally (not his fault) very coarse (thick) and English is not his native tongue – so difficult to follow along sometimes due to voice and German accent appearing
– the course is based on Angular version that has changed a lot till now.
– the practice course (recipe book) has confusing terms – recipes, ingredients (in English speaking terms) used inappropriately in my opinion.
Overall:
this course was very good learning experience.
Thank you Max Sir.

Overall, I believe the Udemy course I’m taking is valuable. However, I have struggled with understanding the examples and explanations provided, even though I have a relevant background.
Specifically, I had to watch section 5 three times before I grasped the concepts. Additionally, I find the project presentation lacking, as I don’t have a clear idea of what we are building or how it will look. Despite these challenges, I have found Max, the instructor, to be very pleasant, and I enjoyed his CSS course.
Unfortunately, this course has been quite confusing for me thus far.
Edit: this is too old for today. many deprecated classes and methods. also, the attached files are not running, you will have to fix bugs before running them. explanations sometimes are really poor as well.

Used this course along side a switch from a Blazor application to Angular at work and the results were phenomenal.

This course is excellent for beginners and creates a solid foundation in programming front-end application with Angular. It doesn’t have bad habits and actually explains some odd choices with very valid reasons. I cannot stress enough that you need to make your own project at least to fully be on your way to mastery just like it has been said at the end of the course.
This course is pure excellency and Max is a class act.

First of all, it is OUTDATED. Max shows us how Angular works, but he almost never really sets goals, which means that we don’t really know what we are working towards. The other negative thing is that the course has two extremities, really easy stuff and then suddenly you are hit with the most complex stuff you have ever seen. Most of the times without the necessary explanation. If there is an explanation, then it assumes that you can understand it while Max is clicking and scrolling everywhere and he also speaks way faster than he should. Then in the next video he says that this is not how we do it usually and hits you with another complex stuff. In the end you are left there totally confused about what you should do.
Jost answers quite fast (thanks mate!), but I bought the course so I can see Angular explained, I can read the documentation for free.

Overall great course explaining the features of Angular and providing an actual walkthrough/implementation of those features in the course project. Only downside is that some features of Angular have evolved/changed in the current version that are different from the course material and needed to be resolved through the Q&A section; which is also a very helpful resource.

Max gives a lot of info about why he does things, therefore we understand how things are done, but also why he does them like that. He encourages the student to try things by himself/herself before giving the solution, which helps getting autonomous.
Little downside : although the code is compatible with more recent versions of Angular, I have the feeling that there are some new features or approaches that are not covered here and that the course could be updated. I struggled especially with the setup for the Redux Bonus.
But generally speaking, very clear and detailed course.
