The course tell us to understand the use of action plan to manage transition. The course also pointed out that we should understand and eliminate the resistance to change. Just like in an organization, we should accept any changes which are beyond our control.

Frameworks and tools are somewhat simplistic, but course gives a good general overview. Course would be more useful if corporate examples were used (rather than personal)

For the most part, pretty basic change management info. especially for anyone that has many years behind them. Good reminder of what we control or don’t, and how to work through transition well.

Always a good idea to use this as a refresher course. It’s so easy to forget that we cannot control everything (take it from a control freak!). This is a course I could listen to Monday mornings just to try to set my mind right for the week.

I like sections 4 and 5. The plans for creating a plan and working through the process are good. I did not like the explanations of the 3 phases of transition. It seemed like the words used in the 3 phases were focused in the negative and should have mostly been in the ending phase.

I really enjoyed this course, especially the resources and templates. The course gave me useful ways to understand how we all process change differently. Using the William Bridges model, I was able to identify which stage I’m at and how to get to the next stage. I especially enjoyed the change action plan, which gave me some practical next steps. The course is best consumed at 1.5 speed, if you find the voice a little slow.
