This is a great course. The course is well structure and the instructor is very elaborate and with good explanation. The course ends with a hands-on challenging project where learners can learn a lot and put much of PHP into practice.

I finally finished the course. I’ll revise and give five stars now . I was a novice user of php before this course and I could barely follow up cause there were functions and stuff that were not explained properly so I couldn’t understand. But this eventually worked better for me because I stopped the video in each of these stuff and break them down until I had a better picture. It’s better if you get your hands dirty. I’d say this course is totally a ‘From zero to hero’ course. Apart from the OOP approach I learned many many other things too. Thank you Brad! Great Job..!!!!
P.S.: I just got a new job because of this course. 😀 😀

I’ll try a different book to learn Object Oriented PHP but it takes time to read it. I figure out this course can help me to go farther in my web development career.

Excellent Course for a beginner. It’s not getting all 5 stars because I think it wasn’t clear why to use this or that concept of OOP here and there. Overall, It’s an excellent course, especially if you consider it’s a free one.

This is one of the best courses i have taken in web development. It really broadened my knowledge of the power of PHP. Now am confident in approaching projects.

The course, although designed in 2016, is still relevant as it deals with the very basics. The project teaches you a lot about the MVC approach and how PHP’s OOPs concepts are applied in real life.
However, it would be nice if the cource could be updated to use newer frameworks. For example, rather than Bootstrap 3.x perhaps the latest version could be used.

quick and easy to follow.
didn’t really explain anything.
it was more a code along thing. (“now i need this, now i need that, …”) because ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
there is still something to learn for PHP beginners though.

I suggest that the explanations focus on one aspect at a time. The way the lessons are explained, I tend to get lost because the author focuses on multiple aspects at the same time. Also, more scaffolding is needed to ensure people follow on. These are a few aspects that I think need to be improved, especially for beginners to programming.
