Elisey –
The course is mostly a compilation of well-known things about conflict.
There is nothing new or eye-opening.
Presentation is just talking heads, it would be better to have a presentation with some built points.
Christopher Delissio –
I wish there were some real life examples. I also would like to have some downloadable tools to take with me and be able to reference in the future.
Catherine Wilson –
This was a very slow and hard to listen to course. It had great meaning but was also very similar to another course that had a lot more takeaways in it.
Lisa Hegenbart –
Yes it was a good match. It would be nice to be able to download the slides or handouts of the information shared as it was a bit challenging to take notes while trying to listen.
Steven Bashynski –
It was a good way to demonstrate techniques for thinking about conflict. I am not sure how practical all aspects are, but still a valuable course.
Debbi Fitzpatrick –
The pace was good and the messages were relatable. The length of the course was perfect for me because I was able to focus on the content and did not feel like I needed to get up and take a break or exit the lesson altogether.
Lori White –
Great overview of conflict resolution. This course is appropriate not only for managers, but all as nearly everything requires teamwork.
Gina Davies –
I found the course to be very informative and I could relate to it having dealt with conflict in the workplace. Everything made sense and I found it very useful.
Scott Tackett –
The combination of presentation styles made the content harder to follow. Maybe it was the presenter’s intent to mix the styles to show how others perceive or interpret messages differently.
Diana G. Higgs –
It was informative-thank you! Key to success is ensuring that you have a level of self awareness/others awareness to optimize communications and positive outcomes. In high tide, all boats rise:) Sometimes, possessing the right energy and engaging others in that energy from the onset, can help the momentum. When these thing fail, and there is conflict, it’s good to employ some of the suggestions taught in the video. And conflict in itself isn’t bad, so long as we can keep a level of respect towards each other. Respectful but divergent approaches/ideas can elevate solutions and outcomes!
Shanaz Rasheed –
This course held my interest with the examples provided, the video which was humurous and the test. It was to the point and not too long.
Dan Griffiths –
Engaging and pleasant course. Good as an introduction to a far wider subject.
