First of all, I just started this course but already its a 5 star for me. I have enroled in Chris’s other economics course – The Most Comprehensive (57 hrs! ) Economics Course (Diploma), which is a very detailed and comprehensive course in itself. I felt and shared in my review there that a country as large as India was not sufficiently covered, and within days Chris has come out with this India focus course which now I am relishing. Chris is the most involved and driven teacher that I have encountered anywhere Udemy or in real life which makes these courses of his extra special. More power to you Chris.

It is one of the most detailed course on Indian economy .The course provides explanation that everyone who are very new to economics (like me ) can understand and course contains a lot for them also who are good in economics .
Some of the features of the course are-
1 Nice and easy explanation with statistical figures.
2 Nearly contains all the major schemes by government
which includes –
a) Ayushman bharat scheme
b) modi care
c)GST
d) farmbills + many more
Impact of GST and demonetisation are explained too .
Topics like central vista and why are farmer’s protesting ? Are also covered.
[Course contains current state of Indian economy + its future + what experts says]
3 Course encourages to learn through research and participating in discussions , Q\A section of the course also contains vast information + Educational Announcements are the place which improvoke your thinking and reasoning abilities .
4 Course is complemented by 2 workbooks (indian economy and indian railways ) + 2 books on macroeconomics and microeconomics
Which makes it more vast and detailed .
5 instructor Mr Chris is very active throughout the course and in Q/A section too . He encourages to participate . (Which makes course worth it .)
So ,if you have intrest in indian economy (and economics in general )
i will only say, GO FOR IT !
Many New sections has been added to course recently…
They provide deep revision of previous lectures too.
Lectures on vaccination policy of india are really Deep. There is a seperate section for those who are not from India or don’t know much about Indian economy, Which will inhance your learning about the economy.
Future threat to the economic growth are also discussed and growth projections by several organisations are included too.
I will be updating it as I proceed through the course…

I have already experienced courses by Professor Chris Sivewright before. I wanted to enroll in a newly released course of his, in light with the current development that is happening in the world. And lo and behold I found this course today. Prof Chris is a fantastic human being, with a deep love to teach and help his students to acquire knowledge, not through passive learning but through active participation, discussion and research. He will sure push us to a certain limit as usual, forcing us to go deeper into the subject, so that we finally own the knowledge and the skill that the course is teaching. I like this approach and I am so happy and excited about how this new economic course is going to enfold, going forward…yes, expect lot of changes and updates to happen, because he will always keep everything relevant and dynamic for us.

This is the first time I am studying an economics course. It has been hard. I am taking it slowly. But now I am beginning to understand some of the things I read about the economy of different countries.

This is my fourth course with Chris sir,
The course is very up to date and deals with most of the factors of the Indian economy which need more work on them.
Even though there are very less students on this course ( I believe there are a total of 250 students as of 14th August 2022) but the Q/A is fairly active than rest of the courses and I hope to complete this course with the workbooks in (its kind of my personal goal) maybe a month.
