I’ve used After Effects a fair amount so some of the more basic skills were not so useful for me for me, but I can imagine that if I had never used After Effects before or very little I would have gotten a really generous crash course. As it was, I sped through some things but got a lot of really useful pointers and ideas that I will definitely be using in the future. I appreciated the bonus content after the main course, but some of it did get really repetitive since it was essentially bits and pieces from other courses. Phil is thorough and clear in his demonstrations and explanations, and I’d recommend this course for anyone new to After Effects or looking to improve workflow and get ideas!

It’s a very good course and does teach you a lot about using After Effects, really great if you’re new to After Effects. The only two flaws are it does get a bit repetitive later on in the course and also pretty much EVERY video plugs their website for more courses which gets very annoying hearing the same website every video
